Exciting news! Greece will officially fully reopen on May 14th (with gradual reopening to tourism beginning next week) to all travelers who have been fully vaccinated or test negative for COVID-19.
During the summer of 2020 Greece was one of the few European countries to open. They were able to successfully control the first wave of the pandemic and now, as result, the hotels here have plenty of experience operating with pandemic protocols with a proven track record of success.
My friends and colleagues in Greece could not be more excited to welcome travelers back this summer!
Space is still available for summer of 2021 (as of April 2021) but booking up quickly. Our local team on the ground in Greece has been leaning on long-standing relationships to secure space to piece together spectacular itineraries for our clients. Now is most certainly NOT the time to try and D.I.Y a trip to a destination like Greece.

24 Hours Under the Acropolis
Begin your journey at the famed Hotel Grande Bretagne in Athens. With breathtaking views of the fabled Acropolis, regal Syntagma Square and the Parliament, lush Lycabettus Hill and the original Olympic Stadium, for over 150 years this hotel has been a perfect home-base in Athens.
Spend a day with a private guide visiting the most famous monument of the country, the Acropolis. Cap off a day of history with dinner under the stars with the Acropolis in the background.
Explore the Islands by Private Yacht
Of course the best way to explore and experience the Greek Islands is by boat. Charter a boat for a few nights and spend the days discovering hidden gem beaches and caves around the dramatic cliff-framed island coastline. The Aegean sea is ideal for divining and snorkeling, fishing ... or simply relaxing.
The Greek archipelago is a particularly attractive playground for novice and experienced sailors alike, with countless secret coves and beaches that are only accessible by boat. And when you get tired of the sea and want to get your feet back on dry land, all you need to do is point your boat in the direction of the nearest bay or harbor.
Avoiding the crowds and the hassle of long ferryboat rides are among the additional advantages of chartering a boat - on this itinerary the charter also serves as transfer between the islands of Mykonos and Santorini.
Wrap Up your Greek Adventure in Luxury
After a week full of history, culture and adventure on the water, wrap up your time in Greece relaxing in Santorini. The island is famous for it's vineyards, and while many wineries offer tours and wine tasting if you want to visit multiple wineries, book a wine tour (most wineries are small and hard to find if you don't know the island well.)
