Emerald cliffs, lush coastal rainforest, soft white sands, and warm, life-filled ocean. Discover this spectacular corner of Mexico and explore one of the country's last remaining remote coastal rainforests.

We've developed a fun week-long itinerary combining 2 unique Mexican destinations; Punta Mita and One & Only Mandarina.
Both offer accommodations that are private and the ability to maintain social distance throughout. These amazing accommodations combined with fun excursions throughout the week make this a perfect family beach getaway!
Explore Punta Mita
Punta Mita is located about 45 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta on Mexico's West Coast. This is a great place to start your trip as you'll have a full villa. This means plenty of space to spread out, and a full kitchen to prepare meals (or have a chef come in and prepare for you).
One of our favorite villas here is called Casa Majani. This unique luxury property is situated on the northernmost tip of the Punta Mita peninsula, in a private residential community bordered by the Pacific Ocean on one side and by the Sierra Madres on the other. It was conceived by eco-sensitive architects who created a series of independent structures connected by pathways through beautiful water features.

The home is a five-minute beach walk to the St. Regis Punta Mita Resort and a 10-minute golf cart ride to the Four Seasons Punta Mita.
Explore Islands and Surf Towns
The Marieta Islands are located just a few miles off the tip of Punta Mita and is a must if you're in the area. This archipelago in Banderas Bay (Bahía de Banderas) is thought to have been formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago. The islands have never been inhabited by humans, only by wildlife.

An aerial view of the islands reveals a large circular crater, and within the crater is the secluded beach Playa Escondida ("Hidden Beach"). No doubt its somewhat "secretive" location adds to its allure, but its pristine, sugary white sand and bright blue water help, too.
Also not to be missed is Sayulita - a quintessential Mexican surf town.

In a one-time sleepy fishing town on Mexico's rainforested Pacific coast a boho crowd of dreamers and surfers has carved out a funky beach scene to nudge up against those of Tulum and Trancoso.
Anywhere it is possible to live both in and out of the water produces a quality of relaxed bliss that cannot be manufactured or easily defined. In Sayulita, it comes from decades of barefoot hippies padding up the dusty streets, sea salt and sunshine touching every surface.
End at Mexico's Most Exciting New Resort
Woven seamlessly into the diverse, dramatic vistas of one of Mexico’s last tropical beachfront jungles in Riviera Nayarit, One & Only Mandarina is by far the most exciting new development in Latin America in recent years!
